Creator Academy

Academy lessons are small, practical projects layered above the reference manual. Complete one milestone at a time in Workshop, test after every meaningful change, and keep the last working cloud revision.

Start a path

• Platformer path: reshape a course, add a checkpoint and hazard, then publish an unlisted playtest.
• Top-down path: build an explorable arena with collision, pickups, dialogue, and a finish portal.
• Puzzle path: turn the Rune Maze into a readable collect-and-exit challenge.
• Debugging and performance clinic: diagnose unsafe states and stay inside publishing budgets.
• This week's build prompt: a bounded starter challenge suitable for any official template.

The first checklist remains the fastest complete introduction: build your first Rift.

Milestones

1. Create a cloud draft from an official template.
2. Make one visible layout change.
3. Add one controlled component or visual behavior.
4. Clear all error-level project checks.
5. Complete the Rift in Test mode.
6. Publish an immutable unlisted version and reopen its play link.
