Help players find your Rift
The catalog tells players what your Rift is before they press Play. Clear details are more useful than promotional language.
Write the public details
In Publish, add:
- a short description of what the player actually does;
- one to five accurate tags;
- the controls your Rift needs;
- a realistic minimum and maximum play time;
- whether multiplayer is optional or required;
- content and accessibility declarations.
These fields appear on the Rift details page and can be used as catalog filters. If a declaration changes, update it. Players can report misleading details.
Choose a thumbnail
You can select one approved image that is already attached to the project and pinned in the published version. The image needs useful alt text. If image delivery is unavailable or the image is disabled, PixelRifts shows your card color instead.
Replacing an Asset Library image creates a new version. Publish the project with that version before choosing it as the public thumbnail.
How catalog order works
The default is Newest published. Players can choose Recently updated or Title A–Z. Likes, saves, and follower totals are visible context, but they do not control these orders.
Related Rifts share the first tag and are newest-first. Choose the first tag as your clearest description, not as a ranking trick.
Common problems
My image is not in the thumbnail list
Approve it, attach it to this project, use it on an object, and publish a new immutable version.
Thumbnail rejected during public submission
The selected image version is not approved or its digest is not present in the selected published bundle.
My Rift does not appear in a search
Confirm the public submission is enabled, then check the exact title, description, tags, controls, and flashing-lights declaration against the active filters.
